1. We are exhorted to “become imitators of God” and to “work what is good toward all.”

इसलिए हमें उकसाया गया है कि हम ‘परमेश्वर के सदृश्य बनें’ और “सब के साथ भलाई करें।”

2. But the poor , blind imitators had lost all their moorings as they cut themselves adrift not only from their traditional religion and morality , but also from their art and literature , their homeland and their people .

किंतु बेचारे नकलचियों ने अपने सभी नौबंध खो दिए थे , क्योकि वे बहते हुए न केवल धर्म और नैतिकता बल्कि अपनी कला और साहित्य , अपनी मातृभूमि तथा अपने लोगों से भी कट गये थे .

3. But it did give them the opportunity to show that they were not ‘imitators of what is bad’ and thus to receive advanced training in loyalty to Jehovah and to apostolic authority. —3 John 9-12.

पर इस से उन्हें यह प्रदर्शित करने कि वे ‘बुराई के अनुयायी’ न थे, और इस प्रकार यहोवा और प्रेरितों संबंधी प्राधिकार के प्रति वफ़ादारी दिखाने में उच्च प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त करने का एक मौक़ा ज़रूर मिला।—३ यूहन्ना ९-१२.
